•Brendette Brown-Green received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Alabama and her JD from Miles Law School. Between undergraduate studies and law school she worked in business and marketing, where she developed the confidence and public relations skills necessary for the responsibilities of being a Circuit Court judge, where she has presided over high profile cases.   Her legal career began in 2003 as a senior trial referee.  She then became a special circuit judge and later a  Municipal Court judge at Jefferson County Family Court and Birmingham Municipal Court.  She is a board member; Women Lawyers Section, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority; Board Member, Birmingham Park and Recreation Board; member American Association of University Women; National Coalition of 100 Black Women; Black Women’s Roundtable; Vulcan Park and Museum Board Member, and member of The Worship Center Christian Church.
